The Bi+ Book Club reading for March will be "The Bisexual's Guide to the Universe" by Nicole Kristal and Mike Szymanski. Join us on Wednesday, March 6 at 7:00 pm at Quatrefoil Library: 1220 E Lake St, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55407. Summary: "Double your chances for a date this weekend with the ultimate handbook. Organized by experience level, this no-holds-barred, irreverent guide is for anyone—bisexual, queer, pansexual, or none of the above—who wants the best of both worlds. Increase your Bi-Q now!" "The Bisexual's Guide to the Universe" has been somewhat divisive among bi+ readers. Does this book represent our community well? Do we find anything about it problematic? This month's reading will provide good discussion material.
BiCities, the longest running show on bisexuality in the world, has returned to the airwaves after a three and a half year hiatus! In this weekly talk show, hosts Dr. Marge Charmoli and Dr. Anita Kozan sit down with members of the bi+ community and LGBTQ+ community at large to talk about current events, local activism and organizing, arts and entertainment, healthcare, and any variety of topics that explore and promote bi+ visibility, inclusion, and activism. Saint Paul residents can catch new episodes on Channel 15 on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm! You can also visit www.bicities.org to watch new and old full episodes, no matter where you live! The returning premier of BiCities featured BOP members Shawna McNamara and Leah Yoemans, talking about this year’s Bi-Lesque production, “Bi-Lesque: Unicorns Unite”. Watch this episode below! |
