Bi+ Salon on Thursday, July 10: Bisexual Community

6/30/2014

Bi+ Salon is a moderated discussion on various topics held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. It is open to all bi+ people: bisexual, pansexual, fluid, unlabeled, or otherwise non-monosexual people. Bi+ Salon is offered free-of-charge.

On Thursday, July 10, 2014, Bi+ Salon will be facilitated by BOP Board Chair Camille Holthaus. Here's her description of the discussion topic:
People talk about the Bisexual Community. Many of us feel there is one, a lot of people are still looking for one. What does community mean in this context? Why do we need one? How do you build a community and what do you do with it once you have it?

Community is one of my passions from understanding the important role they serve for both individuals and the larger society to exploring how community organizations work, or more often, don't work.

Come join me for this discussion where we'll share our ideas and do a little community building at the same time!

Bi Salon is the second Thursday of every Month. We gather at 6:00 pm to chit chat and get settled. If you are ordering something please try and order it once you get here to minimize noise during the discussion. We will start the discussion at 6:15 pm until 7:30 pm. Look for the bi flags on the table.
