BOP's 2018 Annual Meeting and Board Elections

Don't miss our annual meeting and board elections this Sunday, 1/21 at 12:30 pm at North Regional Library, at 1315 N Lowry Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55411! The meeting agenda is as follows:

-12:30 PM - Join us for lunch!
-1:30 (approx) - Annual presentation 
-2:30 (approx) - Election of the 2018 Board of Directors
-3:30 (approx) - The first board meeting of the new board! BOP's board meetings are open to the community, and all are welcome to stay and participate.

BOP's POC representation is poor. Historically, our relationships with POC communities have been poor. We need to do better, and we need more faces in the room from the parts of our community we are not reaching or serving. This is not an expectation for POC to come hold our hands and educate us about their oppression; it is an invitation to have a seat at a table that has previously failed to create space for you and needs to do better. We hope that we can start this year by making real strides towards better serving our Bi+ POC communities.
